Milan, Italy
These are the highlights of my trip to Milan:
1. It was a beautiful bus ride from Switzerland to Milan through the vast Alps range
2. ...I forgot to take Euros with me, thinking I could use my debit card as I had been all this time. I reached the bus stop, went to buy a train ticket at the kiosk, and it wouldn't take my debit card! I couldn't find anyone that would help me out, so I decided to use my GPS and walk.
3. As I walked out of the station, it started to rain. I took my umbrella out and tried not to let the rain dampen my spirits as I looked up the distance to my hostel. 8km from Lampugnano Bus Stop to Koala Hostel... that's not too bad. Not ideal, but not terrible either.
4. I took the opportunity to learn how to cross a flooded road at peak traffic, see the old buildings and beautiful parks on the way, and even take a glimpse at the Duomo.
5. I reached the address of my hostel, and it wasn't there. I checked my confirmation email, and sure enough, the address on it was different from the address Google Maps gave me. Wonderful, more roads to visit while I found my way to a hostel in a country whose language I could neither speak not understand.

Places I enjoyed walking around/through and foods I enjoyed eating:
1. University library
2. Duomo
3. Panzarotti
4. PIZZA
5. Gelato
6. Coffee in an small coffee shop where nobody spoke English and I ordered by pointing at a menu-- it's a thing of beauty to be warm and fed when the weather is cold and rainy
